Meet Camilla

Today, Camilla works as an attorney in the M&A team, where she handles a broad range of tasks. From large-scale transactions to day-to-day corporate law matters.

"Most of my work revolves around transactions, where we conduct due diligence for clients who are buying or selling a company," she explains. "A due diligence process involves almost the entire firm, and it is my job to ensure that everyone meets their deadlines."

Camilla describes her role in M&A as a form of project management, ensuring that everyone involved is aligned and moving forward.

"M&A is not hardcore legal work where your nose is buried in legal commentaries. It is more about project coordination – keeping track of all the moving parts in the process. That includes staying in touch with clients, coordinating with opposing counsel, and managing internal colleagues – and I find that really exciting."

The role as a “project lead” is a natural fit for Camilla.

"I enjoy being the one who ties everything together and keeps the overview," she says. She also notes that while the work can be intense during peak periods, there are quieter stretches too: "You learn to navigate the changing pace of different projects."

Over time, Camilla’s client contact has grown – something she sees as a valuable part of her role.

"I have always had quite a lot of client interaction, and that is only increased since I joined LES. It means a lot to know the clients and understand their preferences," she says, highlighting how strong client relationships improve collaboration and efficiency.
